Starting with Goldenseal 3.8, you can see the original advertising source, when making reports of Sales or project income. That way it's easier to see exactly how effective each type of marketing has been.

How to Use

To see a report of sales, broken down by advertising sources, follow these steps:

1. Choose Income from the Reports menu, and choose Sales from the submenu.
2. Click the More Details checkbox.
3. Enter Customer Source into the Breakdown popup field.
4. Click the Update button to fill in data.
5. You'll see a breakdown of sales resulting from each type of advertising, with subtotals of income for each.

You can get similar reports for Project accounts, or project billing income.
