Error Message after Replace All

PROBLEM

When using Replace All to adjust prices in Cost Items, Goldenseal will give 3 "bad value" error messages if the Assembly window is open, and the current Assembly price is changed by the price change in the Cost Item record that is currently in view.

Caught By

Turtle Creek testing.

Workaround

None. The messages are annoying, but don't cause any long-term problems.

Solution

This bug is fixed in Goldenseal 3.8.

Technical Details

The price updating after the Replace All price change was happening too early, so the Assembly would not be able to fetch some values from the Cost Item currently in display.

This is a fairly rare error. We never experienced it in our initial testing of Replace All, but noticed it recently, while testing a new feature.
