Bill of Materials Adjusters

PROBLEM

The Bill of Materials report does not multiply material quantities by dimension adjusters from the Estimate (such as framing spacing, paint coats or foundation thickness).

Solution

Fixed in version 3.8. We added code to apply the material adjusters to the Bill of Materials report, as well as to the Estimate price.

Technical Details

Only some Assemblies use adjusters, which allow one Assembly to cover a variety of situations (for example, different sheathing thickness, stud or joist spacing, foundation thickness or paint coats).

The adjusters are optional. If you don't want to use them, follow these steps:

1. Choose Preferences from the Options menu, and choose Income from the submenu.
2. Turn off the Use Dimension Multipliers checkbox.
3. Click OK.
