Rental Transaction Number

PROBLEM

After using the Billing command for Rentals, the Rental Transactions don't have the correct transaction number.

Caught By

User bug report.

Workaround

Click on the number and type in whatever you'd like.

Solution

Goldenseal 3.7 properly fills in the next available transaction number.

Technical Details

To set the next transaction number for Rental Transactions, choose Record Numbering from the Options menu. This sets the next record number, and also allows you to set the way the number is displayed (for example, you can enter something like 2006-001).
