Payroll Report Shows Hours & Overtime

The Payroll Records report now shows the hours worked, and the number of overtime hours for each employee in each pay period.

How to Use

To see a summary of payroll for a time period, follow these steps:

1. Choose Payroll from the Reports menu, and choose Payroll Records from the submenu.
2. Enter a date range.
3. Click the Update button.
4. Goldenseal will fill in a summary of payroll for each employee.

This report is useful if you want to see the total hours worked, or the number of overtime hours. For example, you may find this report useful if you are calculating net hours for worker's comp or other insurance based on payroll hours. You can also see at a glance how much overtime each employee has received.

Technical Details

In version 3.6 and earlier, Payroll Records did not have a field showing the overtime hours.

HINT-- It is usually very easy for us to add new calculated fields. If you'd like to see more info in one of the reports, just let us know and you can probably have that info at your fingertips in the next update!
