Bill of Materials Report Misnamed |

PROBLEMThe Bill of Materials command is not showing under Estimate reports in the basic version of Goldenseal. Instead, the command still had its original name (Materials Takeoffs). Caught ByUser bug report. WorkaroundIf you have Goldenseal basic, use the Material Takeoffs command in version 3.5 or earlier. It's the same thing as the Bill of Materials. Both give you a list of materials needed for a project. SolutionVersion 3.6 uses the correct name. Technical DetailsWe renamed this command about a year ago, to make
it more compatible with general accounting terminology,
and to avoid confusion for people who use the term "material
takeoff" for blueprint measurements. Looks like we forgot
to change it in the separate resources that are used
for the basic version. |
