Goldenseal 3.32 now indexes the Date field as a part of its transaction menu arrays.

This allows you to find date ranges much more quickly with the Find command and for reports.

It also lets us create the new Profit & Loss report much more quickly.

How to Use

When you first open a Goldenseal file with version 3.32, Goldenseal automatically converts all of your company data to the new format. It may take a minute or two to re-index all of the transaction values.

After that, you'll be able to find a date range in 10,000 records within a second, instead of waiting 30 seconds for Goldenseal to check every record for its date.

Technical Details

Goldenseal also indexes transactions by account, job cost data, status and amount. That allows some operations to go extremely quickly.
