Decimal Shifting

PROBLEM

A few lingering problems in the decimal shifting option-- which allows currency amounts over $2 billion:

• A few lists weren't converting values correctly when switching between % and currency amounts.
• The spell-out portion of checks was incorrect for decimal shifted values.
• The 'from' amount in Payroll Tax Tables was jumping by the wrong amount.

Caught By

User bug reports.

Workaround

None.

Solution

Most were fixed in version 3.33. The remainder were fixed in version 3.4.

Technical Details

This is a new feature that involved many changes in the handling of currency and number values. There may still be some small bugs lingering-- if you use the decimal shifting feature, please let us know of any problems you encounter.
