California Disability Tax

PROBLEM

California disability tax is set to the wrong percentage in 2005 payroll Tax Items. It's 108% not .8%.

Caught By

User bug report.

Workaround

Follow these steps:

1. Choose Payroll Setup from the Costs menu, and choose Tax Items from the submenu.
2. Open the California Disability Tax (SDI).
3. Change the 108% figure to .8%.
4. Click OK.

Solution

This is fixed in Goldenseal payroll software version 3.33 and later.

Technical Details

This percentage hasn't changed in years so we're really not sure how we managed to mangle this one.
