Sort Command Slows Other Programs

PROBLEM

When using the Sort command in Goldenseal, other programs slow down and won't be able to run.

This is most noticeable if you are running Goldenseal, and then try to switch to a different program while Goldenseal is doing a sort. The other program won't run until the sort is finished.

Workaround

None.

Solution

This is fixed in Goldenseal 3.3.

Technical Details

We now yield the processor frequently when doing a sort so other programs can continue to run.

NOTE-- If you notice that other programs are sluggish when Goldenseal is running in the background, please let us know what you are doing in Goldenseal at the time. We can yield the processor more frequently during that operation, and be more "polite" to other programs.
