Enter Estimates Button

Goldenseal 3.3 adds an Enter Estimate button for Prospect records, so it's a bit easier to start an estimate for a prospective customer.

How to Use

If you haven't customized the Prospects layout, the new Enter Estimate button will show up automatically when you open Prospects records using version 3.3.

If you have customzed the Prospects layout, the new button will not appear automatically. To add it to your custom layout, follow these steps:

1. Choose Custom Layouts from the Options menu, and choose Transactions from the submenu.
2. Enter Prospects into the Transaction popup field at upper left.
3. Click the button tool (5th row left on the tool palette).
4. Click in the layout, and drag a rectangle where you'd like the button to appear.
5. You'll see a list of available buttons. Choose Enter Estimate and click OK.

Technical Details

The Enter Estimate button is already available for Customer accounts.
