Find Also for Multiple Finds

Starting with Goldenseal 3.2, the Find Also checkbox stays on when you use the Find command, so it is easier to use it for a sequence of finds.

How to Use

Use the Find Also command to find multiple items.

For example, if you want to find customers from several states, follow these steps:

1. Choose Customers from the Accounts menu.
2. Choose Find from the Edit menu.
3. Enter a state into the State field, then click the Find button.
4. Choose Find from the Edit menu again.
5. Enter a second state into the State field, turn on the Find Also button, then click the Find button.
6. Choose Find from the Edit menu again.
7. Enter another state, then click the Find button.
8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 until you have entered customers from all the states you want to use.

Technical Details

This is a teensy interface tweak that took about 15 seconds to program. We still turn off the Omit, Any Match and Find Within checkboxes each time, since it's unlikely that you'd want to use them multiple times. However if you find a good reason to leave them on also, please let us know!
