Financial Report Updates

PROBLEM

Clicking the update button a second time in the Balance Sheet or Income Statement report sometimes causes some values to drop to zero.

This problem happens only rarely in versions before 3.01. It became more frequent in that version, which is why we finally noticed it.

Caught By

Turtle Creek testing.

Workaround

Close the report window and reopen it.

Solution

Version 3.1 fixes this problem.

Technical Details

This is fallout from a recent increase in the frequency of memory purges. We save the calculated value so it is faster the second time around, but Utility Account calculators were not being marked for a save in the event of a purge. A subtle bug that appeared only rarely in previous versions.
