Cache Report is Speedier

The Cache Report now fills in a list of items in RAM almost instantly. The previous version required a loop through all records in the database, which could take several minutes if there were many records.

How to Use

Choose Security from the View menu, and choose Cache Report from the submenu. This report shows a list of records stored in RAM, which is mostly useful for debugging (i.e. we use it a lot but you probably won't ever need to).

Technical Details

Now that this report is easier to use, we've been able to greatly improve the memory management, especially in the multi-user version.

Version 3.1 also stores a list of records in RAM, which may allow us to optimize some functions in future versions.
