| How can I modify breakdown tables in my estimates,
purchases and other transactions?
Goldenseal version 2.4 adds three commands that help you to work with breakdown tables.
Inserting Rows
To insert a row in the middle of a breakdown table, follow these steps:
- Click anywhere in the row that you'd like to move down so there is a blank row above it.
- Choose Table from the Edit menu, and choose Insert Row from the submenu.
- Goldenseal will insert an empty row at the selected location.
HINT-- In newer versions of Goldenseal, you can also hold down the Control key (Windows) or
Options key (Mac) and then click in a row to add a blank row there.
Fill Down
To fill a table row with the same data that is in the row above it, follow these steps:
- Click anywhere in the row that you'd like to fill.
- Choose Table from the Edit menu, and choose Fill Down from the submenu.
- Goldenseal will copy the data from the row above it, into the selected row.
Deleting Rows To delete a row from a breakdown table, follow these steps:
- Click anywhere in the row that you'd like to remove.
- Choose Table from the Edit menu, and choose Delete Row from the submenu.
- Goldenseal will remove the selected row.
