QB Switch-- Year End Closeout

Goldenseal does not require any special action at the end of each month, quarter or year. You can continue to enter data without "closing the books" in any form.

If you want reports for a particular period, you can specify a date range and Goldenseal will use only the records from that time period.

HINT-- It is often helpful to be able to view records from past years. The Goldenseal Find command gives you quick access to your data, even if you have thousands of records.

Closing Accounts

If an account is no longer active, follow these steps:

1. Locate the account record.
2. Click in the Status field on the left side of the window, and enter Closed.
3. Goldenseal will no longer show the account in menus.
