Can I make contracts from allowances, change orders and bids?

Yes. Starting with Goldenseal 2.4, you can create contracts and spec sheets from any of the following records:

Allowances
Bids
Change Orders
Estimates
Material Purchases
Other Costs
Purchase Orders and Work Orders
Sales
Subcontractor Costs

To be useful for a contract, the source record needs to have an Items breakdown. Goldenseal will "build" a scope of work description. It uses the text from the Contract Text field for each Assembly and Cost Item that is included.
