Line Returns (Mac vs Windows) |

| I see a bunch of squares at the start of each line! The Macintosh uses a carriage return (CR) between paragraphs, while Windows uses a carriage return and a line feed (LF). Goldenseal usually displays either type of info correctly on both platforms, but if you have imported Windows-style text into the Mac version, in some cases you may get extra LF characters which will show up as unprintable characters (squares). If that happens you can just delete the squares. NOTE-- We'd like to hear about any problems displaying carriage returns properly within Goldenseal. If you are exporting from Goldenseal and want to control how the text is formatted, follow these steps:
