Saving Import & Export Order

Can I save the field order for imports and exports?

Starting with Goldenseal 2.8 you can save the field order for imports and exports. That makes it easier to import the same type of data repeatedly.

To save import field order, follow these steps:

1. Make the import as you usually do.
2. When you get to the Import Order window, set up the fields as you usually do.
3. Click the Save This Order button.
4. Give the order a name, and click OK.

To use the saved order, follow these steps:

1. Make the import as you usually do.
2. When you get to the Import Order window, click in the Use Saved Field Order field.
3. Enter the order that you previously saved.
4. Click the Import button.

HINT-- we plan further enhancements to this feature over the next year, so the interface may change slightly in future versions.
