| Goldenseal suddenly quits or freezes when I'm working in a breakdown table! This is an intermittent and frustrating bug that has been in Goldenseal for several versions. We finally tracked it down, and it's fixed in version 2.71 and later. This problem happens when you make changes in a record that includes a breakdown table, when you just created it from a template or by duplicating another record. Goldenseal may suddenly quit or freeze up (it's caused by an invalid pointer to the previous record). If you are using version 2.7 or earlier, the short term cure is to do the following before working on an estimate or other record that you just created from a template or by duplicating another record:
