Using Replace All

Is there a fast way to make a change in many records?

Use the Replace All command to change data in multiple records. It's much faster than entering it individually in each record.

To use Replace All, follow these steps:

1. Use the Find command to find all of the records you want to change.
2. Make changes in the current record.
3. Choose Replace All from the Edit menu.
4. Select the fields that you'd like to change in all records. Click OK.
5. Goldenseal will fill the active record's data into all of the other found records.

HINT-- Before you use Replace All to change many records, it's a good idea to make a backup copy of your file. That way you can go back, if you decide you didn't want to change the records.
