Can I use Goldenseal on more than one computer without having a network?

Yes, you can swap one Goldenseal company file between two different computers. Usually that happens when you have both a laptop computer that you carry with you, and a desktop machine in your office or home office.

NOTE-- If only one person is using Goldenseal, you can get the single-user version and still use it on more than one computer. If there are multiple people using Goldenseal, you should get a multi-user version. Click here for more about licensing for multiple people or multiple computers.

Computer Setup

If you are using Goldenseal on more than one computer, start by doing the following:

1. Install Goldenseal on one computer. You can use the CD that we send you, or download it from our website.
2. Install Goldenseal on the second computer.

Next, set up a Company File for your business. You can do that on either computer. Follow the detailed instructions on page 159 of your Getting Started manual.
