Goldenseal is project schedule software that gives a simple 'time line' schedule for each project. It calculates the start date for each task by checking the total hours needed in the unit costs in each line item of an estimate. You can adjust a project schedule by changing the start date and the crew size for each item. You can also insert delays, and change the start date for any intermediate item. After each change Goldenseal will automatically adjust the start date for all following items. Goldenseal is not a "critical path" scheduling program, but it is very accurate at calculating the total duration of each task in an estimate, and it usually gives a realistic schedule for projects of less than six months duration. You can export the Goldenseal schedule information to Gantt chart scheduling programs if you'd like to see a graphic "bar chart" of the schedule. Goldenseal is an integrated program which also includes accounting, job costing, contract writing and project management. The basic version includes all of the following for $395 (single user): The complete version of Goldenseal costs $695 single-user, $995 for two users, $1295 for five users, and $1795 for up to 10 users. It includes all of the items mentioned above, plus these accounting features:
Goldenseal project schedule software is available for Macintosh and Windows computers.
