Goldenseal is project contract software that creates project contracts, subcontracts and project specifications. It writes a detailed set of project specs automatically, with a sentence or two that describes each item included in the project estimate.

You can create a project contract out of three types of components:

• Text from a Contract record.
• Boilerplate clauses from a Contract Package.
• Scope of Work specifications for each assembly and cost item in a project estimate.

To create a contract, follow these steps:

1. Choose Contracts from the Income menu.
2. Click the New button.
3. Enter a project, a Contract Package and a source of specifications.
4. Click the Write Contract button and save the contract on your hard drive.
5. Run a word processor program, and open the contract with it. HINT-- you can create a formatted template for your contracts, and then paste the new contract text into it. That way you can include your logo or other details on each Goldenseal contract.

Goldenseal is an integrated business management program which also includes cost estimating, job cost tracking and project management.

The basic version of Goldenseal includes all of the following for $395 (single user):

The complete version of Goldenseal costs $695 single-user, $895 for two users, $1195 for five users, and $1595 for up to 10 users. It includes all of the items mentioned above, plus these accounting features:

• retail sales

Goldenseal project contract software is available for Macintosh and Windows computers.
