Goldenseal is payables software that records vendor invoices, makes vendor payments and prints checks. It tracks payables aging, and uses payables info for job cost tracking and time and materials billing. Goldenseal handles material purchases, subcontractor bills and other costs. It also computes sales tax and VAT tax, vendor discounts, vendor withholding and retainage. Goldenseal prints 1099 forms for subcontractors, and withholdings payments or deducts from subcontractor payments when their insurance has expired. Use the Pay Bills command to see a "quick report" of your current payables. You can also use it to pay vendors, sales taxes and payroll taxes. Goldenseal is integrated software that also includes general accounting, payroll, cost estimating, contract writing, project management, lead tracking and many other business management features. The Goldenseal payables software is available for Macintosh and Windows computers. You can mix both platforms in the multi-user version.
