Goldenseal is labor costs software that calculates labor costs in project estimates, and then tracks labor hours and expenses for each project or business phase. It gives you "estimated vs actual" reports so you can see just how accurate your labor estimates have been.

For project estimates, Goldenseal combines labor and material costs into assemblies for your business tasks or the services you provide. Assemblies let you prepare quick estimates which already include the labor hours and material components that are required.

When you start work on a project you can log in labor hours, and assign them to projects or to overhead costs. Goldenseal uses the labor hours records for job costs, for time-and-materials billing, and for payroll.
