Goldenseal is integrated house remodeling software for remodelers and home improvement contractors. It includes construction estimating, job cost accounting, contract writing and project management. Goldenseal includes "smart dimensions" for remodeling work. You can enter project dimensions for each room in the house, and Goldenseal will automatically calculate overall quantities for framing, drywall, paint, insulation and other work. The program also includes over 2,000 unit costs for the complete range of house remodeling work and repairs. Most of them are in the form of Assemblies, which include the labor and materials you'll need for each type of work. When you enter material purchases, Goldenseal automatically updates your unit costs, so you know they'll stay current. We were originally Turtle Creek Construction, and we developed the first versions of our software for our own kitchen and bath remodeling business. Since then over 6000 companies have purchased our programs for estimating and managing their remodeling projects.
