Goldenseal is estimator software for anyone that needs to prepare fast, accurate cost estimates. It uses unit costs, assemblies and "smart dimensions" to prepare bids quickly. Goldenseal is an invaluable tool for any project estimator.

We provide Starter Files which include dimensions and unit costs for many types of construction work. You can also fill Goldenseal with your own cost items and assemblies that you get from your own experience, from a "rule of thumb" or from an estimating book.

Goldenseal includes many estimating features:

• Assemblies which combine labor hours, material components and other costs for a piece of work.
• Templates which "remember" the details for your average projects.
• Allowances for pricing items that don't have exact specifications.
• Bid tracking for subcontractor or supplier bids, competitive or not.
• Unlisted items so you can type in "one of a kind" items.
• Percentage adjustments that you can include as line items, or use to adjust overall costs.
• Automatic updating of material costs when you enter material purchases.

The Goldenseal estimator program is integrated software which also handles cost accounting, billing, contract writing and project management.
