Goldenseal is an estimating program for Macintosh or Windows. It gives fast, accurate cost
estimates for any business that needs to prepare bids or
estimates.
To help you create fast, accurate estimates, Goldenseal includes several advanced estimating features:
- Smart Dimensions-- enter a few simple measurements, and Goldenseal will calculate quantities for each of the
items in the project.
- Unit Cost Library-- Goldenseal includes "starter files" for several types of businesses. They give you costs
and assemblies for that type of work, plus a set of "smart dimensions".
- Templates-- You can set up templates for your usual types of work. That way you'll start out with most of
the project already specified, and you only need to enter anything that is different.
- Cost Adjustments-- You can "tweak" the estimate cost to account for currency differences, inflation or other
conditions.
- Automatic Price Updating-- When you enter material purchases, Goldenseal automatically adjusts unit costs
for your future estimates.
Goldenseal also includes integrated job cost accounting and project management.
