Goldenseal is estimate software for construction contractors and any other business that needs to prepare an accurate price quote, bid or estimate. It uses unit costs, assemblies, project templates and "smart dimensions", so you don't have to think so hard when creating each estimate.

You can start out with one of our Starter Files, which already include dimensions and unit costs for a specific type of work. It's easy to add more unit costs, or change any of the items that are already included.

There are several ways to create an accurate estimate with Goldenseal:

• Use the Find command to locate a past "historical" estimate, copy it and make any changes for inflation and variations in the specs.
• Use a template to start with a "standard" project, then enter dimensions and any items that are different for this job.
• Use Goldenseal's unit costs to assemble a detailed breakdown of components.

Once you've create an estimate, you can track "estimated vs actual" job costs for it, and also use it to create a project schedule, bills of materials, tool lists and labor reports.

Goldenseal is an integrated software program which also includes job cost accounting and project management.

The basic version of the Goldenseal software includes all of the following for $395 (single user):

The complete version costs $695 single-user, $895 for two users, $1195 for five users, and $1595 for up to 10 users. It includes all of the items mentioned above, plus these basic accounting features:

The Goldenseal estimate software is available for Macintosh and Windows computers.
