Goldenseal is cost estimates software for any other business that has to give bids, price quotes or estimates. It uses "smart dimensions", unit costs and assemblies to speed up your cost estimates and make them more accurate.

Creating a cost estimate in Goldenseal is a simple four-step process:

1. Start with a template for your usual type of construction.
2. Enter building dimensions- either room by room, or as a whole project.
3. Hit the Update Quantities button to calculate quantities for each item of work.
4. Scan the estimate, and make any adjustments for the specifics of this project.

After you finish a Goldenseal estimate, you'll also get a simple project schedule, a material takeoff, and specifications for your contracts and subcontracts.

Goldenseal also handles project billing, expense tracking and general accounting.

The Goldenseal cost estimates software comes in an "estimates only" version which includes all of the following for $395 (single user):

The complete version costs $695 single-user, $895 for two users, $1195 for five users, and $1595 for up to 10 users. It includes all of the items mentioned above, plus these accounting features:
