Setting Printer Margins |

Problem Goldenseal accounting software is printing too much white space at the page margins. Cutting off text or other items. Diagnosis Is the problem happening around the edges of the paper? If so, it's a page margin problem. Solution Most of the Goldenseal printed forms use a 1/4" margin (7mm), which should be sufficient for nearly all printers. If the pages are cutting off, it's usually a Page Setup problem. In Windows, follow these steps:

NOTE-- It's possible that some printers may have some other way to set margins. Check the printer documentation or contact the printer manufacturer for details. Nearly all printers have an "unprintable margin" and can't print to the very edge of the paper. If the printer's unprintable margin is more than 1/4" / 7mm, then it may be necessary to reset the layouts and shrink them so they have a wider margin. To do that, follow these steps:
