Fixed Dollar Benefits

Problem

Benefits that are a fixed dollar amount per pay period or per day worked are not calculating properly in Goldenseal payroll software.

Diagnosis

They have a Benefit Item that is a fixed dollar amount per pay period or per number of days worked (for example, a tool allowance). It is not multiplying correctly (being treated as % instead).

Solution

So far, this has been the final bug reported in benefit payroll calculations. Fixed in version 2.3 of Goldenseal payroll software.
