Macro Error C142

Problem!

macro error C142, number format not valid when making new schedule. Also occurs at B29 in estimating. Problems in CANADA or FRENCH language only with MacNail construction scheduling software

Diagnosis

MacNail has various problems if using french language.
Some also seem to occur in Windows if using CANADA (English) as the setting under International.

Solution

Mac: make sure you're using English version of XL and System
Windows: go to Program Manager, Main Window. Open Control Panel. Open International. Make sure it's English language, US as country, comma as list separator
