Source File and Payroll Blank Error

Problem

when creating payroll report from MacNail Construction Payroll Software, gets error: "source file and pay blank do not match!"
YEAR-END PROBLEMS

Diagnosis

1. This will happen if they are using an empl index, and that EI has a different # of misc cols from the pay blk. This is a rare error- as long as they make sure to use matching pay blks & EIs (e.g. "FL payroll blank" and "FL empl index) from our payroll disk, this problem won't arise.

Solution

switch to the correct Employee Index
