Can't Find Employee Hours

Problem

'can't find any employee hours for this pay period' message when making a Labor Report. Not getting all employee hours. Not getting all material or subcontractor items
YEAR-END PROBLEMS

Diagnosis

if in January, running December payroll-- make sure the dates are for the previous year, not the current year.
Can use query box with >2/1/96 to find items that were entered incorrectly.

Solution

fix the data in the Labor Log or Material Log for MacNail construction payroll software and try again!
After 1/1/96, typing in 12/25 will give 12/25/96, not 12/25/95. A lot of people forget this when doing data entry.

NOTE-- Goldenseal payroll software tops Excel here! If you enter December dates in January, it automatically uses last year.

Comments

If not year-end data problems, make sure the correct pay period is being used, and that there are valid dates for it.

NOTE: When doing the labor report, use the 'another pay period' option, since that shows start/end date for the pay period.
