Diagnosis
To data enter change orders:
In ledgers or logs, change orders must be entered with category code CO, and MUST have a subcategory, whether
or not they are using a 2-layer cost control. The subcat # is the # of the change order- they can check the
bottom of the cost control sheet to see which change orders are available.
Solution
To add change orders:
1. Make sure they're in the Cost Control Manager.
2. Scroll down to the very bottom of the worksheet, below the 'profit' section. They should see CO--Change
Orders, with numbers beneath it.
3. Click anywhere in the row underneath the last change order--it'll be labeled AL-- ALLOWANCES.
4. Drag down thru any cells, selecting as many rows as you want to add.
5. Choose Add Rows from the Edit menu. # series is added automatically.
