PROBLEM
cc won't post job costs- there's nothing at all in the cc column for each job cost accounting
entry
cc column empty or blank, no error messages in cc? columns
of MacNail construction accounting software job cost
worksheets
Diagnosis
1. are there items to post? 'Total' column must be > zero.
2. try posting, make sure all items are selected in “update...” dialog box
3. Some users use the space bar to 'clear' the cc column. We check for ANY text when we post, so those items
are then NOT posted. The need to be completely blank (use Clear or backspace key)
4. Could be using bad cc manager 3.3, instead of 3.3a or higher.
5. If XL4 or XL5, may be 'code change problem'
Solution
1. if all are zero, it's probably no sales tax (materials, TA #2) or no burden (labor, TA #359)
in master index. Fix that and try again.
2. have them try again and read off what's chosen. Make sure they use the 'this file' option so there's no
confusion about which file it's coming from
3. clear the cc column and repost
4. Send latest update disk
5. Have them replace the manager (see #411)
