PROBLEM

mystery cc posting problems in MacNail construction accounting software
posts to main category, not to subcategory on 2 two layer cost control worksheet
" no cc paid" error, can't find "paid" cell in MacNail construction job costing software

Diagnosis

SYMPTOMS: 'other' or 'office' cc sheets will give a "no cc paid" error message for deposits
2 layer sheets post to the main categories, not subcategories

Solution

check cell A1 at the upper left corner. It should have a 1 for a 1 layer cc worksheet, a 2 for a 2 layer cc worksheet, a 3 for an 'office' or 'other' cost control if not there, explain that it must be there (see below).
if main categories were posted over, will need to trash that sheet, clear the cc column, and start over for that job (see TA #88)
if they got an error message, enter the right # into A1 and repost.

NOTE-- Each cc sheet has a number in cell A1 that tells it what kind of sheet it is: 1 for 1 layer cc, 2 for 2 layer, 3 for office or other. If there is no number there, the sheet will be treated as a 1 layer sheet. A few users have removed this number when 'tidying up' the worksheets, and caused problems.
