Zero in Category Headings

Problem

Valid numbers in specs items for l/m/s, but zeroes in specs category headings within MacNail construction estimating software

Diagnosis

1. check l/m/s fudge factors in *Fixed Costs. The fudges are multipliers, so if they are set to zero all categories will be zeroed out
2. are formulas still in specs heading row? May have been erased.
3. check section control (col B of heading row). If it is zero, the section will be zeroed out
4. check Dimensions- True/False items at bottom of Dimensions.

Solution

1. Set fudge factors to 1.
2. If missing formula, copy/paste it from another estimating worksheet.
3. Type in a 1 for section control.
4. Enter True in dimensions for items being done by this contractor.
