Estimating Imports-- Wrong Numbers

Problem

'not getting right numbers' or 'I made some changes and they don't show up when importing from Hyper Estimator to MacNail construction estimating software

Diagnosis

check date of Project Dimensions and Project Specs in the Hyper•Estimates folder. If old, they probably have Hypercard somewhere else and they were saved there.

Solution

Use Find File (or System 7 Find) to dig up all copies of Hypercard. Throw out any excess copies, and have just one copy of HyperCard, which should be in the Hyper•Estimates folder. Ditto for home.

Be wary-- sometimes beginners confuse a HyperCard folder with Hypercard.
