Move Prices Not Working

Problem

MOVE PRICES NOT WORKING when updating prices in MacNail construction estimating software
1. cannot find unit costs or .uc file
2. doesn't find items, or adds in wrong place
3. Macro errors
4. item codes not matching

Diagnosis

1. File name problem in the manager. Very old problem, send a new disk.
2. check Database and Criteria defined names- in wrong place? If not that, suspect code change problem or other worksheet damage
3. If at G197- see TA 191. If B77, see TA 240. If D164, see TA 434
4. See TA 283

Solution

2. fix defined names, or switch to Estimating and use Fix Database command (latter will work unless worksheet is extremely screwed up).
