Finding Duplicate Unit Costs

Problem

'Find Duplicates' in an estimate shows row #'s measured from top of Specs, not actual row number.
How to find duplicates in an estimate, when modifying estimator in MacNail construction estimating software

Diagnosis

To find the duplicates easily, do this:
1. Scroll to bottom of Estimate (where the Criteria is)
2. Type in the code number that was duplicated, into the 'code' column
3. Choose Find from the Data menu.
4. Can use scroll controls to go to each item having that code. Change one of them. (Note that the specs row # appears at left side of formula bar).
5. Repeat steps 1-4 for each duplicate.

Solution

VP: for tech, it is sometimes easier to explain how to use Formula Find for the code in the code column (col K), rather than Data Find as described above. (depends on user)
