Compared Material Costs Not Updating

Problem

prices changed recently in Comparisons file are not updated

Diagnosis

They changed some prices in the Comparisions file, then ran 'Update Material Prices' for 'since last update' or 'since [a recent date}'---and some or all of the prices were NOT updated in MacNail construction estimating software

Solution

Make sure that the current date is also entered into the Price Sheet for those items.
Alternatively, can do 'update material' prices twice, using 'since [yesterday's date]' as an option the second time (since the first updating updates the Price Sheet dates).

This is a basic design flaw bug that probably won't be fixed soon. Right now we first extract dates from the Price Sheet, THEN update prices (and dates) from the Comparisons file. It will have to be done in the opposite order instead...
note: code was changed fall 94 so this problem no longer occurs.
