Bad Dates (off by 4 years)

Problem

DOS: after *Update Materials, the lines in unit costs file (.UC) are not being flagged with correct date! Date is 4 years behind today when updating prices in MacNail construction estimating software.

Diagnosis

known bug. This usually occurs when they have re-created the .uc file from scratch- a file created from scratch on DOS has its "1904 date system" option OFF, where MacNail files have that option ON.

Solution

Temp fix: turn ON the "1904 date system" option (in Options\Calculate, or Options\Workspace- location varies by XL version).
