File Not in File Manager/Explorer

PRoblem

Loaded something, but it doesn't show up in File Manager list while using MacNail construction software.

Diagnosis

Windows, unlike the Mac, doesn't update open windows in the File Manager. So if you have an open window (e.g. on the C drive) and run the MacNail installer, the new stuff won't show up when you go back to the File Manager.

NOTE-- this is less of a problem in newer versions of Windows.

Solution

Close the window and open it again. The new stuff should now be showing.
