Not Enough Disk Space

PRoblem

Saving file, gives 'not enough disk memory' while doing any file command in MacNail construction software

Diagnosis

not enough space on hard disk-- can switch to Finder and check memory on disk (if multifinder or system 7)

Solution

1. If system 7 or multifinder: switch to finder, throw out some excess files, switch back to excel, try again.
2. If singlefinder: put in a floppy disk, save on the floppy. Clean off hard disk!!

Comments

STRONGLY RECOMMEND that 10% of hard disk be kept free. Otherwise there is much more disk wear and more change of lost files (because of fragmentation).
