Incorrect Dates (Wrong Year)

PRoblem

dates are wrong-- off by several years in MacNail construction software
In P&L Posting-- 'last year' or 'next year' messages, unexpectedly
In Reports or extracts-- items don't show up when they really ought to

Diagnosis

Especially if years are off by four years, suspect the wrong date system being used
To check the date system, choose Calculation from Options menu. In Mac, '1904 Date System' should be turned ON. In DOS, it should be turned OFF.

Solution

To change the date system, choose Calculation from Options menu. In Mac, '1904 Date System' should be turned ON. In DOS, it should be turned OFF.
