'Mid level' programs on Macintosh: PowerDraw, MiniCAD (now VectorWorks)
'Mid level' programs on DOS: ???

Solution

'High end': Architrion or ArchiCAD (Mac and Windows), SolidBuilder or Chief Architect (DOS)

Comments

All are good programs; it's hard to choose between them.
Other Mac contenders: Dreams, MacDraft, ClarisDraw.
