Can't Do That!

PRoblem

getting message "Sorry, you can't do that on this document!" while using MacNail construction management software

Diagnosis

This message appears when user chooses a menu command which doesn't apply to the currently active file. e.g. "Query Formulas" on a payroll report.

Solution

1. The target file must be the active document (window in front)
2. Its name must include the words "ledger" if it's a ledger, "material log" if it's a material log, etc. (on Mac). On DOS, ledger, is .LDG, material log is .LLG etc. If the file is incorrectly named, McN won't know what it is.
